Additional Subsidized Housing Projects

 

Similar to the Public Housing Program the Housing Authority also manages two Section 8 Subsidized Housing Facilities located in Corry, PA and Albion, PA.

South Hill Apartments

 

A 50 unit Multifamily Apartment Complex

 

Features:

 

  • 1,2 & 3 Bedroom Apartments

  • Secured buildings with 24 hour camera surveilance

  • Coin laundry facilities

  • Private entrance to 1 bedroom apartments

  • Apartments are equipped with garbage disposal, stove and refrigerator

  • Water, sewer and trash included

  • Off-street parking available

  • Ample play are for children with a basketball court and softball field

  • Apartments, building and lawns well maintained by the Erie County Housing Authority

 

Rent is based on a choice of 30% of gross adjusted monthly income or a Market Rent (maximum) for those with a higher income level.

 

Eligibility determined by gross household income and other screening procedures.

 

Barnett Building

 

A 65 unit Independent Living Complex for Elderly and Disabled

  • Community Room

  • Entry intercom system and centerally located indoor mailboxes

  • Coin laundry facilities

  • Close to downtown and Senior Center

  • Apartments are equipped with air conditioning, stove and refrigerator

  • Electric, gas, water, sewer and trash collection included

  • Off-street parking available

  • Pets permitted under Housing Authority Pet Policy (Pet Policy provided upon request)

  • Apartments, building and lawns well maintained by the Erie County Housing Authority
